Ownership mindset — Zeyad demonstrated a high level of commitment to the success of the project and to making sure the needs of the NewsCorp Australia business were met. He planned and executed the activities he owned with a high level of precision and detail. Reliability — He consistently met his deliverables and dates and ensured others did the same. He worked mostly independently from the rest of the PMO and earned the team’s trust. This was especially important given our work in different time zones.
Workday is a large piece of work with a broad range of local and global stakeholders, defined timelines, complex business rules, and quite a challenging history to contend with. Zeyad has managed to successfully come up to speed very quickly with the scope and timelines but also successfully navigate the complex stakeholder group. Zeyad is obviously very experienced and one the best PMs that I have worked with not only at NewsCorp Australia but across my career.
Zeyad’s management of the Personalisation program was a masterclass in professionalism. To manage the process of vendor submissions, pitches, evaluation and then to orchestrate execution with multiple vendors and teams in such a short period of time was extremely impressive.
Zeyad has been a key member of our team, driving excellence in project delivery and governance for data across various projects. Zeyad has brought a big change in the way Project Alexandria is now setup, streamlined, and outcomes are clearly delivered to get the required business benefits. Due to his dedication and commitment, all the streams within the program are aligned, uniform and focused on delivering the outcomes in the Agile delivery model. Zeyad has led in aligning the business stakeholders with the delivery timeline which has ensured a sync between the business and delivery teams. Zeyad managed a complex multi-stream program of work for me at Qantas. He does a great job of building and aligning teams to deliver the right Information Management products within budget. He is calm and collected and works well with both the project team and external stakeholders. He uses Agile techniques and also successfully set up a DevOps delivery approach sustaining and enhancing a robust production system. I would have no hesitation in engaging Zeyad again to ensure complex work gets delivered.

I was part of Zeyad’s project team on a complex, agile data analytics project at Qantas. Zeyad is a knowledgeable and supportive leader, IT specialist and program manager.
